Our Mission
Abortion is dangerous to the health and safety of girls and women, and it ends the life of a preborn baby. It is an assault on God’s value and sovereignty regarding the sanctity of human life.
Pro-Life Pastors is a grassroots, pastor-led effort designed to unify Christian pastors around the sanctity of human life while providing a clear voice against all current or future efforts to facilitate or legalize abortion at the local, state, and federal levels. This peer-to-peer coalition of Christian pastors recognizes that the sanctity of human life is a heart-of-God issue—and therefore a biblical issue. As such, abortion is something the Church, and thus pastors, must clearly address. We stand united as one voice in our Declaration of Pastors in Defense of Voiceless Children and Vulnerable Women.
In addition to being a unified voice in our culture, the Pro-Life Pastors coalition is committed to sharing content, best practices, strategies, and encouragement to help fellow pastors disciple, resource, and lead the local church in understanding and defending the sanctity of human life.
Jesus said, “Give to Caesar what is Caesar’s, and to God what is God’s.” Precious preborn babies are not Caesar’s. Ending their lives in the womb through the act of abortion is not God’s design, not His will, and not His heart. Therefore, the issue of abortion is a biblical, heart-of-God issue—and the people of God (THE CHURCH, led by us—PASTORS) must act.
Silence is not an option. As pastors, we are called to lead with courage, clarity, and conviction in defense of the most vulnerable among us.

“Pastors, we must be like Jeremiah—prophetic voices in our time—calling our people to repentance and discipling our congregations in the whole counsel of God’s Word as it relates to this issue of the sanctity of human life. The hearts of mothers and fathers must be softened and turned toward their children: born and preborn. Ultimately, we all understand that we need spiritual revival in our land and a turning to the Lord. Pastors, our voices matter greatly!”
– Pastor Eric Jones, Founder of Pro-Life Pastors
